ABOUT SARAH
Sarah Stanford is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar certified by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree from the University of the Sunshine Coast and brings a wealth of her experience from private practice, offering psychological services to individuals of all ages, family systems, schools, organisations, churches, and insurers. Sarah is deeply committed to delivering quality mental health services and is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of those she works with.
Before embarking on her studies in the field of Psychology, Sarah provided social, emotional, and spiritual support to young people and their families in both public and private settings. As a wife, mother of three teenage daughters, and a business owner, she understand the complexities and multifaceted challenges people face in their daily lives. Her training and experience enable her to assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health issues through evidenced based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and tailors personalised treatment plan that achieve good therapeutic results for her clients.
In addition to her clinical work, Sarah is dedicated to educating and empowering both individuals and organisations. She conducts psychoeducational workshops covering a variety of topics including burnout prevention, leadership development, mental health from a faith perspective, parenting strategies, and cultivating healthy relationships.
